incompetent journalists

“The press has no respect for its own profession, there is no sense of journalism…They have no respect for the country,” Fladell said. “They are self-serving, incompetent journalists that don’t have–”

It was at this point that Shatzman stood up and shouted: “I totally disagree! I’m a member of the press. I’m not going to sit and listen to this crap! I’m leaving.”

“If you think that’s great, there’s not going to be here to cover anything. You won’t have a godda** bit of coverage!” the reporter added.

“What he’s saying is true!” a member of the audience hollered.

Before finally leaving for good, Shatzman advised the audience to ignore what Fladell was saying because he is “full of you know what.”

Fladell, sometimes referred to as the “Prince of Palm Beach,” did not get flustered, using the disruption to argue that some members of the press have no interest in having a debate or cross-examining differing viewpoints. Fladell later talked about the hostility directed at the Tea Party.

One King to Rule them ALL

#WhatILearnedToday Beck wrong? Obama is not just in bed with the muslim brotherhood he’s going down on’em.

Glenn Beck has the “why bho wants to bomb Syria ” wrong… sorta. It could be that the US needs to blow up the weapons “We” sent to syria byway of Benghazi so Assad can’t show them off the world. The dozen other reasons Beck explains all seem reasonable if a bit convoluted. the real and simple answer as to why BHO wants Assad out is whom is going to be in. The Muslim Brotherhood.

Obama is trying to do in/to Syria what he already did to/in Egypt, Libya and some others, install the muslim brotherhood the sets of power in as many Mideast places as possible. Bho is in bed with the brotherhood (giving them a rim job) Beck already knows why for those of you asking, in fact he’s been saying it for a few years now. The same reason BHO is helping with what he is doing is the mideast with the muslim brotherhood. First bring the middle east under the control of the brotherhood then find….

A King of Islam to rule them All.

Yes Texas needs to get going. In an economic crisis the people voted not one but twice for BO it is very hard to argue with that kind of Short Bus. Texas has spent billions in the last few years but not on Texans. They have spent most of it on Katrina refugees and illegal aliens and the fact that they won’t go home. Houston alone had to raise taxes just to cover the cost of tutors year round to attempt to bring NOLO kids up to speed for the schools. Couple that with slashed oil production because of Obamas illegal shutting of federal oil leases and lands and the out of work roughnecks, and the EPA stopping mining and production of energy as well as the thousands of businesses that have been closed as a result and you have a lot of red ink.

If Texas seceded most of the Welfare professionals would leave immediately and probably go to Cali or Maine for the lavish benefits. The working welfare cases would just go back to work. Also the corporate taxes that the federal government relies so heavily on like Exxon and Valero would no longer go to DC and let us not forget how much military hardware and munitions the Federal Government purchases that is made right here in Texas. The Agri-Business from Texas A&M and the number of US military personnel.

I think Texas would do much better after a soul restoring divorce from this abusive dysfunctional marriage we have had to endure with the self centered egotistical parasitic rest of the nation.

are one of the angry White dummies

are You one of the angry White dummies ? yes, yes you are acording to TOM SCOCCA if you believe that the media is underplay crime against whites then you are a part of a vast “white racial-grievance industry”.

America’s opportunistic race-hustlers, unsatisfied by their victory in the Trayvon Martin case, won’t stop looking for reasons to rile up white people. So now the latest yapping point in our national conversation about race is the murder of Christopher Lane, the white Australian student allegedly killed for kicks by two black teenagers, with a white teenager as their accomplice in the shooting.

In the world of white victimology, this proves that there is a media conspiracy to underplay crime against whites. Where is the outrage over Christopher Lane’s killing? Where is it? The outrage? Huh? WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?

If you are one of the angry white dummies asking this question, try a different one: What is the outrage?

Guess what? There isn’t any. In this case, as in every other case that the white racial-grievance industry has tried to latch onto after the Martin killing, there is nothing to be scandalized about.

Here’s what happened in Oklahoma: a young man was shot to death. The police investigated it as a crime, arrested suspects, and charged them with murder.

No one is on the other side of this case. No one is disputing the principle that people who murder other people should be arrested and tried for it. There may eventually be some disagreement about the application of adult law to juveniles—a genuine point of disagreement in this country at this time—but everyone agrees that the killing of Christopher Lane was a terrible crime and that the perpetrators should be punished.

The reason the killing of Trayvon Martin became a national scandal was that even though an unarmed young man was shot to death, the local authorities decided not to treat it as a crime. That was why it was a major news story. It was not the fact that a person of one particular race killed a person of another particular race; it was how the police and the justice system decided to handle that killing after it happened.

Afterward, when George Zimmerman was finally arrested and put on trial, the white victimology professionals took the opportunity to dust off their old arguments about black-on-black crime and black-on-white crime and why racial profiling is worthwhile. But all of this was in service of making the case that Trayvon Martin deserved to have been shot.

This seems to be confusing people, so let’s repeat it: No one is making the case that Christopher Lane deserved to be shot! There is no meaningful analogy to be made to the Martin case, or at least none that is flattering to white people’s fear or self-pity. Murder (of white people) remains illegal in America, and it will be punished.

Yet the noise has reached all the way up to Time magazine now. “Don’t Ignore Race in Christopher Lane’s Murder,” writes John McWhorter, who has made a nice career as a writer noticing the things about race that white people want noticed.

But what are white people trying to accomplish, by calling our attention to race here? What does a discussion of supposed black criminality, in general, have to do with the specifics of this case? The individuals who allegedly killed Lane have all been arrested. Should the police in Oklahoma have arrested additional black people (or, you know, black and white people in a 2-to-1 ratio), on principle? It’s almost as if the people who want to talk about black criminality don’t care about facts.

BHO NSA must do better at keeping out of news

AP:

President Barack Obama is acknowledging he must “do a better job” (at everything) of giving Americans confidence in the programs the National Security Agency has deployed to guard against terrorism.  oh we are confident that the government is violating our rights every day in as many ways as possible.

Obama says the administration should “continue to improve the safeguards” of these initiatives. of course the “safeguards” he’s talking about are, people not finding out about these “initiatives”

His remarks on CNN’s “New Day” show Friday came in the wake of new revelations that the electronic spying program scooped up as many as 56,000 (anyone else find that number to be conveniently low) emails and other communications annually over three years by Americans not connected to terrorism.

The president conceded the NSA had “inadvertently, accidentally,(oops) pulled the emails” of some Americans. (using Google)  But he also said the programs are necessary, “these aren’t unique to the NSA” (every gov. dep. is doing it, IRS ring a bell) and the United States has to adapt “in the right way” to the confluence of terrorist threats and rapidly advancing technology.

My son was molested, Wipe that smirk off your face

Random Reports on Rose City school board and teachers, no comments from me added yet.

The board member John Janczewski speaks of is Mike Eagan,

The Herald, through the Freedom of Information Act, obtained the letters of support for Erickson, written by Toni Erickson, Carol Rau, Sally Campbell, Amy Huber Eagan, Harriett Coe, Marilyn Glover, Sandi Lee, Kathryn Weber, Kathleen Sheel and Kathleen Palmer. Most asked for a reduced sentence.

“Neal made a mistake,” writes Campbell in her letter. “He allowed a mutual friendship to develop into much more. He realized his mistake and ended it years before someone anonymously sent something to the authorities which began this legal process.”

“I am asking that Neal be given the absolute minimum sentence, considering all the circumstances surrounding this case,” writes Amy Huber Eagan. “I am also hoping that he can stay remanded to custody in the Ogemaw County Jail and not be sent to a prison facility. My advice would be to use him! He is a certified teacher and could be used for tutoring in the jail, running a GED program, or assisting in whatever education related programs there is need for. Allow him to share his knowledge and skills in a useful, viable, and meaningful way.”

“Neal has plead (sic) guilty for his one criminal offense but he is not a predator,” writes Coe. “This was an isolated incident. He understands the severity of his action and is sincere in his desire to make amends. He has been candid and conveyed his action to his family, friends and co-workers.”

Baumgartner said at the sentencing that he couldn’t believe the support for Erickson.

“I’m appalled and ashamed that the community could rally around, in this case, you,” he said.

“What you did was a jab in the eye with a sharp stick to every parent who trusts a teacher,” Baumgartner added.

The family also had the letters “YWP” and “ITY” spray painted on the side of their house, which Janczewski thinks mean “you will pay” and “I told you.”

Lt. Melvin Matthews, post commander for the Michigan State Police Post in West Branch, said the fire is being ruled as arson. He said evidence gathered at the scene is being analyzed by the MSP crime lab, and new leads gathered since the incident occurred are being investigated.

The Janczewskis believe it was someone responding to their outspokenness against several West Branch-Rose City teachers and a board member, who they said publicly supported Neal Erickson, a former WB-RC teacher who recently pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sexual conduct against the Janczewski’s son.

School ‘adored’ Erickson

The issue has roiled a small town where everyone knows everyone else.

The assistant prosecutor in the criminal case sits on the school board. Lori Janczewski is a teacher aide who had worked beside Erickson for 10 years.

It’s like a nasty family fight that has spilled out of the home.

“This is getting out of hand,” said Ellen Scott, whose two grandchildren are students. “They are just out for blood. To me, this is a mob of haters looking for vengeance.”

The controversy began with a 7-year-old photo. The obscene picture of Janczewskis’ son when he was 14, was anonymously emailed to the school board and superintendent.

The Michigan State Police contacted the son, now 21 and a student at Western Michigan University, and learned he had sent the photo to his eighth-grade teacher in 2006.

The son said he and the teacher, Erickson, had a relationship that summer that involved eight to 10 sexual encounters at the teacher’s home.

Erickson, 38, who taught science and computers to seventh and eighth graders at Rose City Middle School, pleaded guilty to a single count of criminal sexual conduct and was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.

Before the sentencing, six teachers and two retired ones wrote letters to the judge asking for leniency.

None of the teachers condoned what Erickson did. Instead, their letters focused on his 17 years of teaching, describing his popularity with students and teachers, how hard he worked and how often he volunteered for school functions.

Amy Eagan, who teaches history and psychology at Ogemaw Heights High School, wrote that no one has done more than Erickson for children, the middle school or the community. She is married to Mike Eagan, the board member.

“You would have a hard time finding a student who attended the Rose City schools that does not adore and respect Neal,” she wrote.

The mounting pressure for Eagan to resign crystallized during a special board meeting Monday night.

Inside the high school auditorium, the crowd of 180 hooted and hollered at Eagan. One person mimicked him with a baby voice. Another sounded an air horn several times.

Of the 48 audience members who spoke during the five-hour meeting, all but a few were against Eagan. Several talked to him about stepping down.

“You are tearing our community up. Do you realize that?” asked Carol Smith, whose daughter attends the high school.

At one point, the meeting was interrupted by John Janczewski, who was sitting in the front row.

“My son was molested,” he yelled at Eagan. “Wipe that smirk off your face.”

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. 12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

UFO OVER SA

This explains the fighter jets i saw that day zipping over my house, something they don’t do.

At one point an Orb comes into view traveling South West..This orb was captured only for a couple of seconds..You will clearly see this U.F.O traveling low in altitude with some reference points such as tree top’s.This time i manage to get some nice/steady Footage. You can clearly see this U.F.O traveling on its own power…..After reviewing the footage several times,Using filters such as 100XZOOM a U.F.O ORB can be observed…In my opinion this Orb is clearly not an aircraft or weather balloons/satellite.Orb was traveling low altitude and on its own power not blown by the wind…

capitalism is the best way to help the poor

Bono, U2 front man, proves that intelligence and common sense wins. In a speech at Georgetown University’s Global Social Enterprise Event, Bono admitted that even he himself finds it hard to accept that he has become a rock star who preaches capitalism.

“Aid is just a stop-gap. Commerce & entrepreneurial capitalism takes more people out of poverty than aid. “In dealing with poverty here and around the world, welfare and foreign aid are a Band-Aid. Free enterprise is a cure. “Entrepreneurship is the most sure way of development.”

opportunities look a lot like work

“I believe that opportunity looks a lot like hard work,” Kutcher began with his first point. “When I was 13, I had my first job with my dad carrying shingles up to the roof, and then I got a job washing dishes at a restaurant, and then I got a job in a grocery store deli, and then I got a job at a factory sweeping Cheerio dust off the ground.”
